Dutch Treat

We just left the River cruise on the Rhine in Germany and are now in Amsterdam. It is a beautiful bustling city. The Architecture is so unique. We had the treat of going to the Van Gogh museum this afternoon.of course it is raining; apparently they have over 200 days of rain.

All Aboard

These geraniums are ready to board the flower train, stadium seating. Silly, I know- but I am a little giddy. We are in Atlanta airport waiting to board flight heading to our river cruise in Germany. Hopefully many paintings will emerge from this trip. Stay tuned!

Sublime

For some reason the colors in this painting reminds me of those "Nickel Nip" wax candy in the shape of soda bottles. You were supposed to bite off the top of the bottle , drink the colored juice inside and then you could chew the wax. Actually that last part wasn't so great to do but we did it anyway. That was over 50 years ago. I have seen them recently at places like Cracker Barrel or vintage candy stores but the price has gone up from a nickel to close to $2!

Boston Proper

I saw this sunlit scene when walking in Boston. There are so many things to paint there, as I can see when looking at how many photos I took.
