Tulip and Pomegranate

I was lucky enough to attend a Qiang Huang workshop this past weekend. I completed three paintings there and I painted this one today as "homework". I was afraid I would let time go by and forget what he taught us. His main point was to try to get us to create some kind of drama in our paintings. Lighting has a lot to do wit it.
